The design for 'Al Amir Sultan complex' is located on a prominent corner site within the heart of Jeddah. The 16-storey office tower combines 5 floors of clinics with 16 Floors of office space, and shops, restaurant, and health clubs. The main challenge of the mixed use complex design was the integration of different functions into one project. Each function has its own needs And addresses different types of users. The scheme carefully balances cost effectiveness and flexibility to produce buildings which are efficient in services, planning and operation, and yet is responsive to the Middle Eastern climate.
