The Design Concept was inspires from the old city of Riyadh, which was characterized like many other Islamic cities with its dense urban fabric which enhances the visual perception of the City, and promotes a better reaction with the hierarchal pattern of spaces. The project includes a main artery which feeds secondary veins in a loop manner. At the neighborhood level, it was aimed at creating livable streets pumping activities to the rest of the community and therefore a green spine was designed, along which major services were located.
