The conservation of Cairo's historic northern wall as part of the old Cairo represented an upgrading and development initiative for the whole area. The project aims at reviving the area's history, adding value to both its inhabitants and its visitors. With integrated landscapes and pathways created along the north wall encouraging the urban and pedestrian movement and interaction.
