The main concept of the Houzaify Hotel complex was to create climatic friendly urban spaces that can be occupied without neglecting the human thermal comfort. To accommodate the different uses with different needs in the complex, a detailed study of features of each space was done thus reflecting on the spatial zoning. The building was broken down into masses. The hotel was designed as a separate U shaped mass creating a private introverted urban space for the residents. As for the retail zone, it followed a linear path facing the main street providing direct accessibility for public users.
