The Academy School located in Alexandria, Egypt includes an elementary, preparatory, and senior stage. The main focus of the design concept was to achieve maximum natural light and ventilation, hence a central atrium was proposed in the building, acting as an interior light source for most of the building spaces in addition to the light entering the building from the exterior openings.
